Das Urteil des Bundesverwaltungsgerichtes vom 24. Mai 1989 im Fall Nummer 7 C 2.87 lautet : 1) Die deutsche Bundesregierung ist kompetent und darf sich um Kulte kümmern . 2) Die deutsche Bundesregierung darf vor der T.M. warnen . 3) Die deutsche Bundesregierung darf die T.M als eine Jugend-Religion und eine Psycho-Gruppe bezeichnen . 4) Die deutsche Bundesregierung darf sagen , dass die T.M. von Lehrern gelehrt wird , die nicht qualifiziert sind , mit Problemen der T.M. umzugehen . 5) Die deutsche Bundesregierung darf sagen , dass die Transzendentale Meditation psychische Defekte oder sogar die Zerstörung der Persönlichkeit bewirken kann . Die verschiedenen Probleme , die durch Praxis der T.M. entstehen können :
The study was commissioned by the German Government Ministry of Youth,
Family and Health, the physical and social implications of the practice
of TM being of primary interest. The investigation has as its aim
to systematically establish the motives of an individual for beginning
TM, the implications of the practice for this individual and his social
circle, as well as to pinpoint the reasons for a voluntary or involuntary
ceasing of TM meditation, or, in some cases, individuals distancing
themselves from the movement. Moreover the relationship between the
underlying world view, inherent in TM, and the practice as presented
to the public was analyzed as to its effect on some individuals. The
study offers an introduction into the teaching and practice of TM
based on the movement's own presentation of itself and its aims, which
in turn lead to the hidden religious background.
Das Oberlandesgericht Münster entschied im September 1995 (AZ: 5 B 3304/93) dass die Bundesregierung in ihrem Sektenreport weiterhin vor der Gesellschaft für Transzendentale Meditation warnen darf.

Some teachers have 2 mantra to teach, others have 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 or 17 mantras to teach. Some teachers give mantras by an age criteria other TM teachers give mantras by a sex criteria, while still other TM teachers give mantras by an age and sex criteria. What one TM teacher gives a 30 year old male another TM teacher gives Man or women age 55-60. As for the science of mantras, it is not a science.
