Collodial Silver - the salvation out of the immun crisis ?

The antibiotic propterties of silver were already known more than 100 years ago, but when the modern antibiotic preparations came up, it was forgotten.
In the USA it came up again as "Collodial Silver" since the begining of the 90s, where it was given free since 1938. But in August 1999 the FDA banned colloidal silver sellers from claiming any therapeutic value for the product.
On various websites could be read that more than 650 sorts of bacteries and virusses had been tested, and none were found that could not be killed in the tests within less than 10 minutes (but with silver in the laboratory), but these staements are not quite true. Several sorts of viruses like Aids can isolite the silver in the human body. Very negative effects of the silver are not known, but pain in sick organs of the body was watched, that ended after some days.
There exist similar silver-compounds like Argentum albumino-acetylotannicum and "Argentum proteinicum" which are only sometimes used too.

The advantage over modern antibiotic drugs is that collodial silver may kill the bacteries within 10 minutes instead of blocking the aggrandizement or the metabolism.

"Collodial" means that the size of the particles is less than 1 micrometer. To avoid that collodial silver damages the cells, the diameter of the particles should be 50 times less.
The production of such small particles has made progress in many respects. In the USA various small firms offer cheap equipments for self-production of such silver at home.

The improved manufacturing processes have various rules :

  • Destilled water to avoid chemical reactions with the solved silver
  • Alternating current(-pulses) of higher than 3000 cycles to avoid chemical reactions
  • Circulating water , to avoid crystals at the electrodes
  • Currents under 50 mA ( and less than 30 Volts ), to keep the silver-particles small
  • Small concentration, to guarantee stability for a long time and to have ionisation of the silver
  • Hot water to avoid reaction with solved gases in the water

    The various manufacturers have their specific receptures. It is not difficult to built such a generator. In the United States mostly electrodes out of very pure silver are used, eventually very poor silver-coins (canadian Maple Leaf - 9999) could be sufficient because of the very small quantities of solved silver(most of them have only 70% Silver!).

    It must be said in this context that white coloration means gross particles - the few nano-particles should only reflect very small amount of the the light and so the good silverwater has not much reflection.

    Another US-Developement is the Silver-Protein but which must be kept cold and can be very gross(and argyric) depending on the manufacturer, and therefore it is not true nano-silver. Silver is solved to Silverchloride in the stomach if it cannot pass it quickly, which also has some medicinal effect.

    In the USA came some Silvercitrate-Products on the market, comparable with magnesium-citrate. But these small ions have different effects than colladial parts because they have a very small surface. (In the laboratory collodial silber is produced by reduction of silver-citrate --> Lee/Meisel , J. Phys. Chem., 86 , 3391(1982) , - or out of poisenous Silvernitrate).

    In the last years the industry began to investigate with foils with very thin layers of silver because packaging of food with such foils hinders bacteries and fungus.

    (I cannot advise to use collodial silicon because of its very sharp crystal-structure , nanao-particles are very difficult to produce. )

    The permanent application of collodial silver has a small disadvantage : Our Immunity - System thinks that there is not so much to defend, and therefore it becomes much less active : The defending cells need Vitamin -C for their activity, and therefore it is advisable, to eat a small spoon of Vitamin-C daily, so that bacteries and virusses are still attacked and removed.

    A personal hint : Collodial silver is a cheap and highly effective replacement for all waters which are used after the cleaning of the teethes because it passes the gums and kills the bacteries - ideal not only for the poor countries where the dentist is a financial problem - by just chewing it in the mouth for ten minutes.
    It is cheap for treating illnesses of the nose too(a few drops only).
